Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain multiple SAP instances, including development, testing, training, and production environments.
- Ensure the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) for proper promotion of configuration and development objects.
- Introduce technical changes into the SAP landscape using structured methodologies to minimize risk and ensure high reliability, availability, and performance.
- Perform printer administration tasks by managing and configuring printers in SAP systems to ensure seamless print functionality across modules.
- Manage and administer non-HANA databases, including Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, Sybase, and MaxDB, with hands-on experience in at least two of them.
- Execute migrations, system refreshes, upgrades, new builds, and rollouts across all SAP components.
- Distribute and manage the SAP online user workload; monitor and handle background job workloads.
- Plan and implement SAP performance tuning strategies to ensure optimal system efficiency.
- Monitor SAP systems continuously, including work processes, user sessions, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer/system traces, and disk usage.
- Perform database administration for Oracle, HANA, and other supported databases, including backups, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
- Execute SAP client administration tasks such as creating, copying, deleting, exporting, and importing clients as required.
- Troubleshoot HANA database memory bottlenecks, optimize performance, and manage workloads effectively.
- Possess knowledge of SAP High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions and backup/restore technologies.
- Apply SAP maintenance (hot packages, kernel upgrades) across all environments using standardized procedures.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation for all SAP instances and related interfaces.
