Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Maintain LookML Models – Develop and manage LookML models to define data structures, business rules, and ensure efficient data analysis.
- Develop Looker Dashboards & Reports – Create interactive dashboards and reports leveraging Looker’s visualization capabilities for data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders – Work closely with business users and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Optimize LookML Performance – Implement best practices for LookML optimization, including caching strategies and efficient data modeling techniques.
- Manage Version Control – Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to track changes, maintain LookML code integrity, and facilitate seamless collaboration.
- Ensure Data Accuracy & Consistency – Validate and troubleshoot data using Looker’s SQL Runner to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- Integrate Looker with External Tools – Connect Looker with other platforms and tools to enable seamless data visualization and analysis.
- Provide Technical Guidance – Offer expertise on Looker best practices, data modeling strategies, and architectural improvements.
- Stay Updated with Emerging Trends – Continuously explore advancements in Looker, SQL, and related technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- SQL Proficiency – Expertise in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- LookML Expertise – Strong understanding of LookML syntax, data modeling principles, and best practices for building scalable data solutions.
- Data Modeling & Warehousing – Experience working with data warehousing platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift to design and optimize data models.
- Analytical Skills – Ability to analyze complex datasets, derive meaningful insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
- ETL Knowledge – Familiarity with ETL processes, data transformation techniques, and relevant ETL tools.
- Version Control Management – Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git for efficient collaboration and code management.
- Communication & Collaboration – Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
