Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (e.g., Webex, LogMeIn, Bomgar).
- Knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps, AWS technologies, and Desktop environments.
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
Management Skills:
- Proficiency in ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, RemedyForce).
- Familiarity with Citrix and AWS environments.
- Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, particularly incident management.
- Experience handling inbound calls and providing technical support.
- Ability to guide end users through troubleshooting steps via phone, email, or chat.
- Escalating unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., software developers).
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple open issues simultaneously.
- Documenting technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.
- Using internal databases or external resources to provide accurate technical solutions.
Behavioral Skills:
- Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Proven work experience in roles such as Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, or IT Help Desk Technician.
- Providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
- Ensuring that all issues are properly logged and tracked.
Certifications (Preferred, Not Mandatory):
- MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).
- CCA (Citrix Certified Associate).
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
