Key Responsibilities:
- Work on External Payments to enable third-party merchants to accept payments through Amazon Pay Balance on their websites or stores.
- Develop a seamless and efficient payment solution to enhance the merchant experience and drive large-scale adoption.
- Ensure a frictionless and trustworthy payment experience for both customers and merchants.
- Design and build scalable, high-performance distributed systems to support payment transactions.
- Apply strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals to develop robust and efficient solutions.
- Work with web-based and web services-based applications to integrate and enhance payment functionalities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to translate raw requirements into well-structured designs while evaluating technical feasibility.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Proficiency in data structures and algorithm design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze computational complexity.
- Excellent technical communication skills.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in object-oriented design and coding, preferably in Java and/or C/C++ on a UNIX or Linux platform.
- Experience with Android or iOS internals.
- Knowledge of Android backend development, including AndroidAccountManager, Broadcasts, and performance optimization.
- Experience in mobile SDK development.
- Hands-on experience with web services and web application development.
- Experience in developing distributed and scalable systems, handling high-volume transactions in a 24/7 environment.
