Key Responsibilities:
- Review Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to identify key information for proposal text and budget development.
- Collaborate with the proposal development team to prepare and finalize proposals.
- Draft and refine text and budgets for proposals, rebids, and related documents.
- Support and assist other Proposal Developers in delivering assigned opportunities.
- Develop or revise preliminary agreements, budgets, and scope of work, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all processes and policies related to proposal development.
- Participate in strategy discussions to understand customer requirements and identify discrepancies in provided information.
- Conduct quality control reviews on all documents and assist in finalizing and distributing them to customers and internal teams.
- Update and maintain corporate databases, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of proposal-related information.
- Attend and contribute to customer meetings as needed.
- Engage in departmental initiatives to enhance proposal development processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, or a related field, with a minimum of one year of direct experience in proposal development, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Understanding of the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with a strong grasp of costing models.
- Ability to interpret Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and study protocols.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers, and clients.
