Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product teams to understand and deliver requirements and user stories that address customer needs.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet user expectations.
- Assist software development teams in designing, building, and delivering outcomes.
- Conduct analysis and propose solutions to support the development and expansion of software.
- Capture and document user stories, behavior-driven development cases, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Perform gap analysis and provide alternative solutions.
- Document requirements and business rules in coordination with relevant subject matter experts.
- Work closely with teams to define and prioritize the backlog effectively.
- Oversee quality control, conduct peer reviews, and ensure signoff on project deliverables.
- Contribute to project documentation and project plan reviews.
- Prepare and conduct training sessions, working with implementation teams to facilitate product changes for clients.
- Conduct functional, exploratory, and user testing as required.
- Provide training and support to end-users and clients on the features and functionality of Morningstar Wealth products.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, demonstrating strong ownership of delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of wealth management products and services.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, adopting a consultative and collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, with the ability to assist in product and user story mapping and guide the team in achieving the desired end-product.
- Strong ability to gather, organize, synthesize, and prioritize large volumes of complex information from various sources under time constraints, ensuring the appropriate level of detail.
- Hands-on experience with continuous delivery and integration environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify, define, and prioritize business needs, issues, and problems, and develop feasible solutions.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with common cloud-based software.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
- Clear and effective communication and presentation skills, both in-person and online, including email, phone, and digital applications, combined with strong listening abilities.
- Quick and inquisitive learner, with experience in defining engineering best practices and providing technical mentorship to engineering team members.
