Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new features using Java and/or C/C++.
- Reduce the attack surface of microservices and public-facing API gateways through security hardening.
- Implement continuous delivery pipelines using tools such as Travis, Jenkins, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimize service performance.
- Orchestrate cloud services using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Tekton.
- Identify and debug issues in production and test environments.
- Develop automation solutions to enhance deployment speed and improve service reliability in a containerized environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Extensive experience in enterprise-class software development.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- A structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- Strong preference for collaborative teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to quickly learn and deep dive into new technologies.
- Experience working with production SaaS environments hosted on the cloud.
- Proficiency in cloud computing technologies such as AWS, VMware, Azure, and IBM Cloud.
- Strong programming skills in scripting languages and compiled languages, including Go, Python, Java, and C/C++.
- Expertise in writing, debugging, and maintaining automation scripts and code using tools such as Bash, Ansible, Python, Java, or Golang.
- Ability to configure, optimize, monitor, and administer services and servers at scale.
- Hands-on experience with modern containerization technologies such as Docker, Vagrant, Rancher, AWS, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
