Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, coding, testing, and support of major software components, ensuring adherence to standard development processes with a focus on testability and quality.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the existing product through reverse engineering and build expertise for designing and implementing enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with team leaders, project managers, team members, and support groups, including customer support and engineering teams, to ensure project success.
- Contribute to the development of enhancements for the Teradata RDBMS product, focusing on low to medium complexity database design improvements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/Ph.D. programs in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Technical Experience:
- Hands-on experience with complex software systems using C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud computing, with exposure to AWS or Azure platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database concepts.
- Experience in performance debugging, file systems, or storage systems.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming, particularly with C++ on Linux.
Preferred skills:
- Strong programming skills in C and data structures.
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and proficiency in SQL.
- Excellent analytical, creative, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to independently devise algorithmic solutions, considering complexity and performance optimization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
