Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test plans, test cases, and quality objectives.
- Execute predefined test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code across end-user applications, systems software, and firmware running on hardware, local, networked, and Internet-based platforms, while identifying, logging, and debugging issues.
- Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Develop strong understanding and build effective relationships with internal and outsourced development partners involved in software application design and development.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing to uncover platform issues and validate new features.
- Establish and maintain QA processes and documentation, including defect tracking and reporting systems.
- Monitor and analyze QA metrics to identify trends and improve testing efficiency and product quality.
- Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle by contributing to requirements analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize testing workflows and tools, driving continuous improvement in QA practices.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Typically, 0-2 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- 0-2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or in a similar role within software development.
- Proficient in creating and executing test plans, writing test cases, and tracking defects.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with cloud and on-premises virtualization environments is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork.
