Key Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data platforms to support AI products.
- Develop parameterized and productized data pipelines utilizing GPUs and CPUs to power AI solutions.
- Write efficient data transformation code using Spark (in Python and Scala) and Dask.
- Create workflows for automating data pipelines using Python and Argo.
- Develop data validation tests to ensure the quality and integrity of input data.
- Perform performance testing and profiling of code using various tools and methodologies.
- Build frameworks for automating high-volume and real-time data delivery to the data hub.
- Operationalize scalable data pipelines to support data science initiatives and advanced analytics.
- Optimize customer data science workloads while managing cloud service costs and utilization.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Over 1 year of programming experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Scala, or Go.
- Over 1 year of experience in SQL and data transformation.
- Over 1 year of experience in developing distributed systems using open-source technologies such as Spark and Dask.
- Over 1 year of experience with relational or NoSQL databases in Linux environments (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data models in the Retail and Consumer Products industry is preferred.
- Experience working on agile projects and a solid understanding of agile methodologies are desired.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly and independently learn new technologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly for technical communications.
- Proven ability to work effectively and achieve ambitious goals in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Ability to collaborate successfully within a diverse team environment.
