Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Machine Learning (ML) development track in client projects.
- Perform data collection, profiling, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and data preparation.
- Develop, experiment with, tune, and validate AI models.
- Present insights and findings to business users and project management teams.
- Propose ML-based solution approaches and provide estimates for new use cases.
- Contribute to the development of AI-based modules in Infosys solutions.
- Continuously explore advancements in AI and execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Mentor junior team members and promote AI adoption within the organization.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Expertise in Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, including:
- Statistical ML algorithms.
- Deep Neural Network architectures.
- Model ensembling.
- Generative AI models.
- ML approaches for Responsible AI.
- Experience in AI domains such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), speech, computer vision, and structured data.
- Knowledge of learning patterns, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in tools for data analysis, AutoML, model deployment, scaling, and fine-tuning.
- Understanding of various model fine-tuning approaches for large models.
- Familiarity with datasets and pre-built models available in the open community and from third-party providers.
- Knowledge of software development processes and architectures.
- Understanding of hyperscalers and their AI capabilities, such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Knowledge of techniques like Model Quantization and Pruning.
- Prior experience working as a Data Scientist.
Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate the value of AI to business stakeholders, project managers, and team members.
- Ability to break down complex problems into smaller components and formulate hypotheses.
- A mindset for innovation and experimentation.
