Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a world-class customer support experience using chat as the primary support medium, specifically for Atlassian products.
- Own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues by leveraging collaboration, troubleshooting best practices, and ensuring transparency within and across teams.
- Escalate issues promptly, adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles to document new learnings and facilitate organizational reuse.
- Participate in technical discussions within the Technical Support team to share best practices and stay updated on emerging technologies.
- Develop expertise in a specific technical area and attend relevant technical training sessions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 1-3 years of experience in technical support, software services, or system administration for a large end-user community, preferably with SaaS products.
- Hands-on experience providing customer support via chat, email, phone, and screen-sharing tools.
- Proven ability to work in high case-volume environments, with strong prioritization and time-management skills.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong technical competence in databases, with the ability to write and update SQL queries efficiently.
- Experience with log searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated data using web interfaces or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with APIs and REST calls.
- Expertise in front-end troubleshooting and understanding network terminologies, including DNS, DHCP, SSL, proxy, and firewalls, with basic troubleshooting commands.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with browser developer tools, HAR file analysis, and tools like Splunk.
- A solid understanding of OAuth-based authentication and other mechanisms like SSO/SAML.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Knowledge of mail flow concepts and protocols such as SMTP, POP, and IMAP.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, including AWS, is an added advantage.
- Experience supporting and understanding Java-based applications, with the ability to analyze stack traces and troubleshoot Java-based exceptions.
