Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a clear understanding of Oracle Database Architecture.
- Demonstrate experience with export/import operations and RMAN (Recovery Manager).
- Proficient in performing hot and cold backups and restoration tasks.
- Experienced in database patching, upgrades, and migrations.
- Skilled in performance tuning to optimize database operations.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for database queries and management.
- Capable of conducting capacity planning and configuring databases for high performance.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix commands for database management and troubleshooting.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Open to working in 24/7 shifts.
- Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with additional databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL is beneficial.
- Experience with scripting languages like Shell, Python, or PowerShell is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.
