Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application deployment.
- Automate deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards alongside the team.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and actively contribute to sprint planning.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project deliverables.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages, such as Python and Bash.
- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
- Understanding of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Nice to Have:
Preferred skills:
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
