Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer issues and tickets within defined SLAs as a member of the Pipeline Production Operations team.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential problems to enhance the overall customer experience and prevent recurring issues.
- Ensure Oracle Analytics products operate efficiently by addressing any underlying or additional issues discovered during customer engagements.
- Coordinate with team members to formulate solutions for customer issues.
- Fully understand each issue, including its impact on the customer, and recommend effective solutions.
- Follow up on resolutions or escalate cases promptly if a solution cannot be found.
- Collect logs and configuration details, attempting to reproduce reported issues for accurate troubleshooting.
- Develop and improve the knowledge base by documenting issues and their solutions.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing activities, including technical discussions and Knowledge Base documentation.
- Prioritize workload based on severity, demonstrating urgency in case handling.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation by building appropriate utilities/tools.
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends based on support rota.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience from a top university.
Preferred skills:
- Proven experience supporting business customers on Cloud or On-premise BI applications.
- Proficiency in SQL/PL-SQL with strong debugging skills.
- Experience diagnosing network latency and intermittent issues, as well as reading and analyzing log files.
- Solid functional knowledge in ERP, Finance, HCM, or EBS domains.
- Working experience with ERP or in-demand applications, such as Oracle EBS or Fusion, is beneficial.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), is a plus.
- Experience with SQL performance tuning and understanding ETL pipelines.
- Ability to build, configure, manage, and coordinate all build and release engineering activities.
- Strong logical and critical thinking abilities with effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
