Key Responsibilities for Software Engineer:
- Conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout, and hardware engineers to enhance productivity tools and design rule checkers.
- Work on the design, development, and implementation of electronic data processing systems software.
- Determine computer user requirements and advise hardware designers on machine specifications, including storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements.
- Design and develop software components such as compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
- Respond to customer or client requests and address issues as they arise.
- Apply formal education, sound judgment, and structured software processes to develop solutions for technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities for Software Engineer Intern:
- Collaborate closely with an experienced development team to contribute to multiple aspects of software projects.
- Gain hands-on experience in production software development, including unit testing and system automation.
- Assist in the development of infrastructure software and tools to enhance project workflows.
- Support and improve automation processes to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred skills:
- Foundational knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or React/Redux.
- Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Demonstrates eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
