Key Responsibilities:
- Break down problems and estimate time required for quality-related tasks.
- Demonstrate growing expertise in the application domain and relevant functional areas.
- Effectively apply various testing types and methodologies throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Take ownership of smaller tasks, delivering independently while seeking assistance when necessary.
- Apply SDLC principles and methodologies, including Lean/Agile/XP, Continuous Integration (CI), Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, Refactoring, and Testing Techniques.
- Work independently to deliver testing and create use cases that meet standards and achieve desired functionality using the chosen project technology.
- Write effective tests based on best practices to verify critical functional requirements and ensure tests remain valid after code refactoring.
- Begin collaborating with the development team on bug fixing and build plans.
- Work with Quality Leaders in creating test plans.
- Implement and configure testing tools and provide occasional support to junior team members.
- Conduct system-level integration testing.
- Demonstrate proficiency in core data structures and algorithms.
- Define quality metrics, establish best practices, set coding patterns, and provide deep expertise on coding standards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with basic experience.
Preferred skills:
- Solid understanding of the infrastructure needed to run large, distributed web applications.
- Ability to break down problems and estimate development time.
- Competence in making basic technology choices based on experience.
- Awareness of industry trends and competitors.

- Ability to take ownership of smaller tasks and deliver independently while seeking help when necessary.
- Effectively communicates opinions with clear rationale, using data or evidence to influence decisions.
