Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute both manual and automated test cases for various software functionalities.
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and document them using a bug tracking system (e.g., Jira).
- Participate in test planning and review sessions, providing valuable insights.
- Learn and apply basic programming concepts to automate test cases.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other testers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups, contributing to the team’s success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation to ensure clarity and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and champion quality assurance at all levels.
- Stay updated on the latest software testing tools and methodologies, continually enhancing skills and knowledge.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Solid understanding of testing principles and processes, including manual and automation testing.
- Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git for version control is a plus.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with API testing and Microservices architecture.
- Prior experience with specific programming languages.
