Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support via phone, email, or instant messaging to consumers, serving as the primary contact for inbound customer issues.
- Escalate more technical product-related issues to the appropriate Product Support department.
- Process a high volume of consumer inquiries regarding FIS products and services, resolving a targeted percentage of these inquiries.
- Troubleshoot customer problems, identify the root causes, and use appropriate tools and resources to determine effective solutions.
- If unable to resolve issues within a reasonable timeframe, escalate them to the appropriate resource and follow up on escalated matters, seeking coaching and mentoring to learn the appropriate solutions and expand overall knowledge.
- Track and document inbound support requests, ensuring proper notation of customer problems or issues.
- Update customer information and ensure the accurate entry of contact details.
- Meet established job standards, including quality benchmarks, adherence to schedule, and average handle time.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced Customer Service Associates, as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
