Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review commercial agreements such as vendor contracts, employment agreements, lease deeds, warrant agreements, and assignment agreements.
- Provide legal and compliance advice on matters related to corporate and commercial laws, labor laws, statutory approvals, and filings.
- Issue legal opinions and memorandums on various topics related to commercial and corporate laws across different sectors.
- Collaborate as part of a team on mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions.
- Participate in legal due diligence and handle various aspects of the due diligence process.
- Draft and review transaction documents such as share purchase, share subscription, shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, escrow agreements, and term sheets.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of legal issues and stay updated on developments in the law.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or MBA.
Preferred skills:
- Prior knowledge or experience in GST and Customs, as well as former indirect taxation systems such as Sales Tax, Service Tax, or Central Excise, is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
