Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into high-level design solutions, including creating mapping documents and writing SQL queries.
- Participate in regular stand-up meetings and prioritization sessions.
- Develop test cases and prototypes, and perform testing in development, testing, and production environments.
- Analyze and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of mainframe concepts is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with mainframe hardware, including CECs, engines, MIPS, memory, LPARs, features, and orders.
- Experience with mainframe software, covering licenses, value metrics, aggregation, MSUs, and value units.
- Expertise in mainframe revenue, such as hardware, software, brands/divisions, majors/minors, and unbundling.
- Familiarity with advanced concepts, such as leasing, maintenance, storage, royalties, sub-capacity, and on-demand offerings, is a plus.
- Required experience with DB2 or another relational database system.
- Required experience with data warehouses.
- Expert-level SQL skills are essential.
- Knowledge of relational database theory and database design.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical designs.
- Familiarity with the DevOps approach to software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with the Agile methodology for software development.
- Experience working in a mainframe development environment is an added advantage.
