Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between Firm-wide P&A, lines of business, Functional Finance teams, and other support teams to deliver impactful reporting, planning, and insightful analyses.
- Prepare presentations, analysis, and supporting materials for key internal clients, including senior management, and participate in ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed.
- Develop, consolidate, and present comprehensive qualitative and quantitative financial analysis, including the annual budget and quarterly/monthly forecast variances.
- Create, maintain, and review financial models and analyses, both recurring and ad-hoc, to support decision-making.
- Perform “deep dive” analyses on key issues impacting clients, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
- Collaborate with business partners across P&A, lines of business, and the firm to ensure timely, accurate, and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders, including firm-wide, Functional Finance, and lines of business teams.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational, management, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in technical and analytical tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase, Visual Basic, and macros.
- Ability to navigate and synthesize multiple data sets into cohesive presentations and recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to work well under pressure, managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Team-oriented, inquisitive, and critical thinker who anticipates questions from internal clients and senior management.
Preferred skills:
- Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues, demonstrating a desire to learn quickly, be adaptable, and think strategically.
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (CFA, CPA, MBA is a plus).
