Key Responsibilities:
- Collate business requirements, analyzing value drivers, functional needs, usability, and support considerations.
- Conduct root cause analysis on data issues and translate data requirements into functional solutions, assessing risks, feasibility, opportunities, and solution options.
- Create clear and up-to-date documentation to communicate requirements, ensuring alignment with the solution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure traceability of requirements from data needs through testing, scope changes, training, and transition.
- Develop acceptance criteria and validate the solution through testing to ensure it meets business needs.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to build trust, understanding their objectives, constraints, risks, and operational environments.
- Present reports and findings to key stakeholders, serving as the subject matter expert for data analysis and design.
- Drive implementation efficiency and effectiveness across pilot and future projects to reduce costs, increase speed, and maximize value delivery.
- Communicate technology in simple terms for business customers, set realistic expectations, and adjust these based on scope changes.
- Propose innovative approaches to address existing challenges and explore new opportunities.
Specific Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Engage daily with CP and MSC stakeholders to understand their business design and reporting needs.
- Collaborate closely with design architects, development teams, finance, and the Asset Management (AM) team to communicate and interpret requirements.
- Translate requirements into actionable, scalable, and adaptable insights and solutions.
- Utilize tools such as S/4H SAP Fiori applications, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Business Technology Platform (BTP) to deliver optimized, innovative, and cost-effective solutions.
- Test reports in collaboration with development teams and business stakeholders across multiple SAP systems.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Mastery of functional knowledge in Asset Management (AM).
- Mastery of functional knowledge in Plant Maintenance (PM).
- Mastery of functional knowledge in Quality Maintenance (QM).
- Proficient in SQL markup language.
- Knowledgeable in analytics and reporting.
- Proven track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.
- Effective communicator, capable of engaging with both technical developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and innovative, with strong initiative-taking abilities and a proven ability to drive projects to completion.
- Experience working with AGILE methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence technologies and their various functions, such as reporting, online analytical processing, data mining, business performance management, and benchmarking.
- Experience in managing small teams.
- Exposure to working in a global business environment and with diverse cultures and global stakeholders.
