Key Responsibilities:
- Define and monitor critical metrics as an integral part of the pod strategy, and influence interventions based on performance trends.
- Collaborate closely with business and product teams to understand business problems and translate them into appropriate analytical problem statements.
- Take ownership of the insight generation phase by conducting thorough analyses to provide unbiased answers to the identified problem statements, with insights and decisions supported by data-driven hypotheses.
- Contribute ideas to improve critical metrics for the pod, viewing yourself as a business owner and using data to validate or refute your thoughts.
- Serve as the subject matter expert in analytics and visualization, ensuring that dashboards are designed and built to facilitate easy data consumption for the pod.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
- A minimum of 0.5 to 3 years of experience in analytics roles.
Preferred skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A keen interest in business and curiosity about product functionality.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to manipulate and consolidate multiple data sources for dashboarding and analysis.
- Intuition for data with the ability to handle large data sources.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Understanding of data-analysis languages like R or Python, and core statistical concepts.
- Experience in building machine learning models is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing.
- A strong advantage for candidates who can effectively explain the narrative behind their analysis.
