Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming requests for assistance via telephone, email, and chat from users experiencing issues with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
- Identifies problems, conducts research, provides solutions, and follows up with customers as needed, escalating more complex cases to the appropriate team.
- Logs and tracks calls using a problem management database, maintaining history records and related documentation.
- Prepares standard statistical reports, such as help desk incident reports.
- Consults with programmers to explain software errors or recommend changes to programs.
- Tests software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and whether the product will assist users in performing their tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in a technical support role.
Preferred skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Prior experience with CRM systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage a heavy workload and multiple projects with frequent interruptions and schedule changes.
