Key Responsibilities:
- Understand, modify, and enhance an NVIDIA proprietary GPU compiler and assembler developed in C++.
- Design and develop new compiler passes and optimizations to ensure best-in-class, robust, and maintainable compiler tools.
- Collaborate with global compiler, hardware, and application teams to manage improvements and resolve issues.
- Contribute to a team that is central to deep-learning compiler technology, encompassing architecture design and support through functional languages.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Possess excellent hands-on C++ programming skills.
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles, with an emphasis on creating robust and maintainable solutions to complex problems.
- Good communication and documentation skills, with a strong sense of self-motivation.
Preferred skills:
- Preference for candidates with a Master’s or PhD, particularly with experience in compiler code generation.
- Experience in developing applications using CUDA, DirectX, or OpenGL/Vulkan.
- Familiarity with performance analysis and compile-time analysis tools.
- Exposure to various machine learning techniques.
