Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources using AWS tools.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications.
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automation of manual processes, optimization of data delivery, and re-design of infrastructure for enhanced scalability.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, modifications, and testing of integration solutions.
- Operationalize developed jobs and processes for efficient functioning.
- Create and maintain database infrastructure to handle data processing at scale.
- Develop solutions and methods to monitor systems and processes effectively.
- Automate code testing and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate directly with business partners to design and develop data integration and transformation solutions.
- Engage with industry best practices for continuous improvement.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Development experience, preferably with Python and/or PySpark.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, profiling, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT design, and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration and driving action.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering results.
- Passion for acquiring, analyzing, and transforming data to generate valuable insights.
- Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and effective problem analysis techniques.
- Flexibility to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Shift Timing: 01:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST (EMEA Shift).
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EMR, EC2, Lambda, Glue, CloudFormation, CloudWatch/EventBridge, ECR, ECS, Athena, Fargate, etc.).
- Experience in administering and/or developing in Snowflake.
- Strong background in working with version control systems (e.g., Git).Experience managing continuous integration systems and Azure pipelines is a plus.
- Advanced expertise in programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Working knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
- Experience in performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to address specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- A proven history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.
