Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Manager of the Digital Experimentation & Insights team, based in Gurgaon, and be responsible for delivering impactful analytics to optimize performance marketing channels, digital experiences (Shop, Referral, Application Experience, MYCA Web, Amex Mobile), and Platforms & Labs.
- Deliver strategic analytics focused on performance marketing channels, digital acquisition, membership experiences, and Platforms & Labs.
- Define and build key KPIs to monitor the health and success of channels, products, and platforms.
- Support the development of new products and capabilities by providing data-driven insights.
- Present campaign readouts, uncovering insights and learnings that can be utilized to further optimize channels.
- Gain a deep functional understanding of enterprise-wide product capabilities and associated platforms over time, ensuring that analytical insights are relevant and actionable.
- Conduct in-depth strategic analysis and provide analytical and decision support by mining digital activity data alongside AXP closed-loop data.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science) is preferred.
- Strong programming skills, with experience in Big Data programming languages such as Hive and Spark, as well as proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience in processing and handling large datasets; knowledge of data science is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and motivate partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
Preferred skills:
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills to solve unstructured and complex business problems, and the ability to articulate key findings to senior leaders and partners in a clear and concise manner.
- Basic knowledge of statistical techniques for experimentation and hypothesis testing, including regression, t-tests, and chi-square tests.
