Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Materials and Deal Support: Collaborate with colleagues in Mumbai and across regional locations to prepare marketing materials, including company profiles, public information brochures, bulletins, benchmarking analyses, pricing updates, earnings summaries, treasury pitching materials, credit analyses, and competitor analyses. Additionally, support colleagues across geographies on execution projects.
  • Financial Analysis: Learn to understand and analyze a company’s financial statements. Set up trading and transaction comparables, valuation models, and financial metric benchmarking for companies.
  • Research: Source and interpret company and industry information from various data sources, including company reports, the Internet, online databases, and J.P. Morgan proprietary content. Begin developing insights on specific industries and track developments, potential opportunities, and new client prospecting.
  • Industry or Product Coverage: Work with colleagues in Mumbai and across regional locations to develop and apply industry or geographic market fundamentals (e.g., the impact of economic/market conditions, competitive landscape, risks, trends) for clients globally. Track a set of clients, emerging sectors, or product themes with the aim of pitching potential ideas.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution with an excellent academic record and a strong interest in pursuing a career in finance.

Preferred skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate thoughts precisely.
  • Close attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality output under pressure, while efficiently managing multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong team player with integrity, capable of working effectively with teams across geographies. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal guidance.Strong analytical mindset and quantitative skills.
  • Awareness of banking solutions and services, along with knowledge of analyzing company financials and financial modeling skills in MS Office applications, are a plus.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and ensuring regulatory compliance within the firm.
