Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of code changes, from development through deployment, including code reviews, testing, and operations.
- Utilize various open-source tools for instrumenting, monitoring, alerting, and debugging production services.
- Participate in on-call rotations with team members to ensure service uptime during off-hours.
- Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to shaping the future of our services, aiming to deliver best-in-class experiences for IBM development teams.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and methodologies, with a strong emphasis on Cloud infrastructure (VPC, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Istio, Akamai, etc.).
- Provide exceptional end-user support by collaborating with development teams to understand their needs and optimize their build processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Pursuing a BE/B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Science with a current percentage of 70% (No standing backlogs).
- Strong coding skills in one or more programming languages, such as Golang, C++, Java, or Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical reasoning abilities.
Preferred skills:
- Knowledge of IBM Cloud services and management, with a focus on deploying and scaling applications in a cloud environment.
