Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test assigned User Stories or Change Requests with minimal assistance.
- Document design, create unit tests, and add necessary comments and notes to related work items.
- Participate in regular meetings with Technical Leads to review Technical Design Specifications, obtain development tasks, track progress, and clarify technical issues related to coding and testing.
- Learn and utilize required tools to ensure source code control, version management, issue tracking, and documentation.
- Follow coding and development standards and conventions.
- Track and work on development issues for a given release as assigned, and incorporate them into a status report for the Development Coordinator.
- Assist the Development Coordinator in prioritizing and assigning technical activities to Development Team members based on the release content decided by the Development Manager.
- Ensure each development item is thoroughly unit tested in a proper deployable environment (outside the development environment) before being handed over to the Implementation group for Integration Testing, and the QA group for overall Quality Assurance.
- Participate in analysis and design meetings for the product.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Any graduate in BCA, MCA, B. Tech, or MTech (CS or IT) with relevant experience.
Skillset Requirements:
- Exceptional comprehension skills and ability to learn and contribute with minimal oversight—an initiative-taker.
- Solid foundation in Object Oriented Programming concepts.
- Ability to think abstractly and quickly grasp the essence of tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for dealing with technical data.
- Ability to work with development peers globally across Europe, UK, and US.
Technical Requirements:
- Exceptional understanding of C, C++, and OOP concepts.
- Knowledge of .NET (ASP, C#, VB.net) is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Experience with multi-tiered application design and development.
- RDBMS design experience (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).Proficiency in HTML/DHTML and JavaScript.
