Key Responsibilities:
- Build a highly scalable and secure payments platform.
- Collaborate with various product teams to gather requirements and add capabilities.
- Use cutting-edge cryptography to secure payments beyond industry standards.
- Derive actionable insights by mining terabytes of data.
- Develop low-level infrastructure to enhance network performance.
- Identify patterns and provide solutions to classes of problems.
- Research, evaluate, and advocate for new tools, technologies, and techniques to improve system value.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with over 1 year of experience in building enterprise systems.
Preferred skills:
- Experience working on one or more large-scale Java applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and availability.
- Proficient in one or more relational and NoSQL databases and transactions.
- Keen focus on the latency and throughput of services.
- In-depth knowledge of concurrency, synchronization, NIO, memory allocation, and garbage collection (GC).
- Experience with IaaS clouds such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or OpenStack.
- Experience working with message brokers and application containers.
