Key Responsibilities:
- Possess strong testing knowledge and a passion for testing and quality.
- Participate in various testing activities, including Functional Testing, Results Validation, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and Automated Testing, to ensure the highest quality of testing.
- Participate in reviews of requirements, functional specifications, and technical specifications.
- Review and analyze design and mapping documents created by the development team.
- Derive test cases based on business requirement documents and inputs from the development team.
- Review peer test cases to ensure the highest test standards and coverage.
- Coordinate with peers (onsite/offshore) in the development and testing teams to gain a broader perspective of testing functionalities and facilitate better test coverage.
- Justify defects found to the development team and provide sufficient inputs for defect reproduction.
- Write SQL scripts for data validation.
- Adhere to all defined processes to achieve excellence, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.
- Communicate with product teams and developers regarding status, issues, and risks on a timely basis, identifying, mitigating, and driving issues and risks to resolution.
Eligibility Criteria:
- BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
- QA Analyst with 0-1 years of experience in manual testing and SQL.
- Fresh graduate who has completed a testing course and is certified from a reputed institution, or a minimum of 1 year of experience in functional testing.
- Knowledge in System Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Strong database skills with the ability to understand and write complex SQL queries.
- Knowledge of test management tools like TestLink or QC.
- Familiarity with agile methodology.
- Experience with bug management tools like Quality Center, Jira, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally both orally and in writing.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with functional automation test tools (such as QTP or Selenium) is a plus.
- Exposure to SQL and REST API testing.
- Exposure to the SCM/Logistics domain is a plus.
- Excellent conceptualization, analytical, and logical skills.
- Familiarity with test management and defect management tools.
