Key Responsibilities:
- Report to the Senior Manager of Data Delivery, DAO Group Functions, based in Hong Kong, and be responsible for delivering data for the Group Functions, supporting various regulatory activities.
- Work closely with the Senior Manager of Data Delivery, DAO Group Functions, to ensure prioritized use cases are built according to agreed data requirements, impact-tested, and delivered to the end user.
- Produce data analysis within the agreed framework and complete impact assessment analysis to deliver data assets.
- Shape the development and enhancement of various data platforms and refineries to ensure data is consumed from trusted sources.
- Support data provisioning via strategic data platforms.
- Collaborate closely with internal team members, process owners, and external stakeholders (e.g., data engineers) to successfully deliver data assets to data consumers across functions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- University degree in relevant disciplines.
- Strong relevant work experience.
- Good understanding of banking operations and processes, preferably in Risk, Compliance, and Finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working within the Hadoop and GCP ecosystems, with strong technical skills in analytical languages such as Python, R, SQL, and SAS.
- Proficient skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with project/collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence is advantageous.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills with the ability to navigate within the organization.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to coach junior staff and work with offshore resources.
