Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across various client projects as a Software Development Engineer.
- Perform maintenance, enhancements, and new development tasks as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to define the overall system architecture for automotive software.
- Conduct requirements analysis to understand functional and technical requirements of automotive systems, translating them into software architecture and design specifications.
- Architect end-to-end embedded products and develop embedded software using C/C++ and RTOS, specializing in software for Electronic Control Units (ECUs).Utilize Yocto and Embedded Linux for software development.
- Possess technical expertise in FreeRTOS, with knowledge of connectivity protocols like Bluetooth and WiFi, and experience working with microcontrollers/processors.
- Proficient in requirement elicitation and translating system requirements into software requirements.
- Maintain commitment to quality and adhere to high standards in software development.
- Familiarity with Requirements DOORS/Polarion and Configuration Management Tools such as git and SVN.
- Knowledge of Agile-based development methodologies.
- Understanding of the complete V-model for ECU development projects.
- Familiarity with Telematic Control Units and Touch GFX.
- Strong understanding and implementation of ISO26262 functional safety standards.
- Ability to lead projects effectively.
