Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret intricate customer requirements into recommendations for suitable solution architectures and advisory services.
- Partner with technical leads and collaborators to orchestrate rapid migration and modernization efforts on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Plan, migrate/build, and establish operational data storage and processing infrastructure using Cloud-native tools.
- Devise and execute data migration strategies for diverse database platforms (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, Alloy DB).
- Create and enforce data quality and governance protocols to uphold the precision and dependability of data.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in coding using one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with client-side web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting and managing internal or external partners or customers.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in architecting and developing software or internet-scale production-grade Big Data solutions in virtualized environments.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Experience working with or on data warehouses, understanding data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting/analytics tools within public cloud environments.
- Knowledge in data processing algorithms, frameworks, Big Data technologies, information retrieval, data mining, or Machine Learning.
- Experience in migrating databases using various methodologies, leveraging data processing frameworks, and implementing modern analytical and transactional data stores.
- Proficiency in building multi-tier, high availability applications using modern technologies such as NoSQL databases, MongoDB, and SparkML.
