Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate derivatives and financing transactions for Global Market clients, reviewing and approving risk-taking within this sector.
- Assess the credit and financial strength of the firm’s hedge fund, mutual fund, and private equity fund counterparts by conducting fundamental credit analysis using both quantitative and qualitative factors.
- Assess the risk of transactions through reviews of quantitative models, portfolio analysis, stress testing, and other methods.
- Perform counterparty reviews, including recommending appropriate internal risk ratings for each counterparty and setting credit limits.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred.
- Preferred Master’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Financial Engineering.
- 0-2 years of experience in a finance or risk role.
- Knowledge of capital markets, including derivatives and/or repo products preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills required.
