Key Responsibilities:
- Business Oriented: Understand business objectives and the context of associated market research.
- Fast Learner: Quickly grasp and apply market research knowledge to interpret and discuss elements of survey design, such as sampling, quotas, methodology, and questionnaire structure.
- Team Player: Collaborate with survey programmers, third-party vendors, and partners for the implementation of online surveys and data collection.
- Eye for Detail: Engage in quality reviews of online surveys before launch, and validate and clean data prior to further processing.
- Statistics Knowledge: Apply statistical theoretical concepts (univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods) and quickly learn and use specialized survey data analysis tools like SPSS and Sawtooth to deliver practical data analytics outcomes.
- Data Interpretation: Learn and use Alteryx and advanced Excel for survey data transformation and processing, as well as for creating formula/macro-driven models and simulators.
- Graphical Representation: Learn and use visualization tools, including PowerPoint, Tableau, and Market Sight, to represent analytical outputs in an appealing and insightful manner.
- Global Team Collaboration: Work with virtual, multicultural global teams, requiring cross-time zone engagement.
- Adaptability: Work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, dealing with ambiguity and unstructured situations.
- Multi-Tasking: Network, build relationships, and engage in informal business development activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated high academic achievement in analytics, data science, mathematics, or a related field, along with relevant work experience in market/consumer research data analytics (projects, coursework, internships).
- Preferred educational backgrounds include a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, or Mathematics.
Preferred skills:
- 0-1 years of relevant experience in market research and data analytics.
- Strong analytical capabilities in data management, processing, and analysis.
- Proficient in Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of additional tools such as SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, Market Sight, VBA, and SQL is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge and affinity for database and analytical tool management.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple, geographically distributed teams in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and operate effectively in a matrix organization, managing prioritization and expectations.
- Capable of engaging with senior stakeholders independently, prioritizing work, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and credibility, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach and a strong work ethic focused on service excellence.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
