Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance software applications using C++.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code.
- Implement modules focused on performance and quality.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise effective solutions to address these issues.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Programming.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in C++ 11 or above, with a good grasp of the language specification.
- Have experience working in Linux/Unix systems.
- Exhibit strong logical and analytical skills.
- Have thorough knowledge of the standard library, STL containers, and algorithms.
- Be familiar with templating in C++.
- Be knowledgeable about the latest C++ standards.
- Have an understanding of Linux system programming, multithreading, and inter-process communication (IPC).
- Be knowledgeable about Linux build systems, CMake, and shell scripting.
- Have a proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and Gerrit.
- Be familiar with IBM Rational tools like DOORS, Synergy, and Jazz CCM/RTC.
- Have knowledge of design patterns, their usage, and tools like Visio.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in C/C++.
- Working knowledge of Git and GitHub.
