Key Responsibilities:
- Create and design software workflows and propose new solutions to laboratory processes.
- Ensure that designs adhere to specifications.
- Prepare and release software components.
- Support continuous improvement by exploring alternative technologies and presenting them for architectural review.
- Develop system enhancements and appropriately document processes.
- Address requested updates and tickets, which includes clarifying requirements, coding, testing, and deploying updates.
- Investigate unexpected events and escalate urgent problems requiring deeper knowledge to the appropriate channels.
- Perform deployments of application/product releases to global production environments with minimal downtime.
- Manage the live system and conduct system monitoring and monthly audits.
- Generate reports based on laboratory requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possessing 0-1 years of experience in the field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Java development through prior work experience.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Utilizing Object-Oriented analysis and design principles, including the application of design patterns.
- Proficient understanding of API technologies, particularly Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Java and JEE internals, including Classloading, Memory Management, and Transaction Management.
- Proficiency in JAVA AWS, with expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred skills:
- Excellent understanding of Relational Databases, specifically MS-SQL, and familiarity with ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate.
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework, such as JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.
- Hands-on experience with UI technologies and frameworks, such as Angular or React, is considered an added advantage.
- Familiarity with laboratory processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Labvantage software is a positive attribute.
