Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements:
- Engage in meetings with stakeholders to define and document business use cases and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform analysis of data sources to identify potential data quality issues.
- Translate requirements into technical specifications:
- Collaborate with data architects and developers to devise data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
- Produce detailed requirement documents and user stories.
- Support data warehouse development and implementation:
- Take part in project planning, design reviews, and user acceptance testing.
- Work closely with developers to address technical challenges and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Monitor project progress and effectively manage associated risks.
- Maintain and enhance the data warehouse:
- Assess the quality of deliverables and identify areas for enhancement.
- Develop and implement data cleansing and transformation routines.
- Document processes and procedures related to the data warehouse.
- Communicate effectively:
- Articulate complex technical concepts clearly to a non-technical audience within the business.
- Prepare presentations and progress updates for stakeholders.
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
