Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical reviews of investment budgets to identify any missing information and discrepancies. Prepare schedules for expense projections and analyze them to address any shortfalls, ensuring readiness for Accenture investment approval.
- Collaborate with asset initiation teams to validate costing information by leveraging internal costing/pricing tools and considering commercial parameters. Assist in analyzing asset costing, understanding variances, and providing advisory insights on potential impacts on Accenture corporate MD&I investments.
- Develop internal business cases by analyzing costs and relevant business benefits derived from MD&I spending, thereby validating the business justification for requested investments.
- Create Go-to-Market Profit and Loss statements based on various market-facing partnerships constructed by Accenture. Analyze sales, growth pipeline, expected impacts of investments, and review with Global Finance Leadership.
- Operate within the framework of US GAAP policies, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of risks and opportunities for Accenture’s business within the regulatory environment.
- Deliver financial context to business leads and other stakeholders in the R&D Organization to influence outcomes and facilitate decision-making using appropriate budgeting and forecasting techniques.
- Conduct Financial Ratio Analysis using established methods to evaluate the risk-reward matrix effectively.
- Provide coaching and guidance to Accenture corporate MD&I teams to enhance the quality of financial attributes before proceeding with significant investments.
- Demonstrate commitment to thought leadership and continuous learning by actively contributing to CTS knowledge capital on a regular basis
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBA with a specialization in Finance, accompanied by certification as a CMA or CA.
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with Corporate Finance strategies, tools, and techniques, including various financing alternatives such as equity and debt financing methods, MD&I Investment appraisal, Cost baselining, due diligence, Budgeting & Forecasting.
- Working knowledge of accounting for business combinations, such as acquisitions of affiliates, as well as asset purchase or lease accounting, including capitalization issues.
