Key Responsibilities:
- The candidate is expected to comprehend the existing product functionality based on provided documentation. As a tester, the individual should be capable of contributing to various projects.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and web applications is essential. The candidate relies on experience and judgment to effectively plan and achieve objectives.
- Understanding current business requirements and the relevant technology.
- Developing high-quality test cases by reviewing business requirements and use cases.
- Executing test cases, documenting defects, and preparing reports.
- Engaging with clients as needed.
- Demonstrating proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 college.
- Demonstrates excellent analytical skills and proficiency in problem-solving.
- Capable of crafting high-quality test cases by thoroughly reviewing business requirements and use cases.
- Proficient in executing test cases, documenting defects, and generating reports.
- Possesses the ability to comprehend current business requirements and the technology in use.
- Exhibits considerable experience in relevant areas.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, including the ability to engage with clients.
- Possesses knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with cloud computing and web applications.
Preferred skills:
- Proficiency in relational databases such as Postgres or Oracle.
- Experience in the banking or finance domain is advantageous.
- Knowledge of SCRUM or other Agile methodologies is preferred.
