Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analytics and generate insights through the application of hands-on data science techniques.
- Establish an experimental framework to facilitate necessary data collection.
- Define a comprehensive analytics approach by integrating business knowledge, statistical methodologies, data techniques, and machine learning algorithms.
- Develop models and data applications to derive actionable insights, accompanied by impactful visualizations that convey simplified messaging of insights.
- Engage with business and functional stakeholders across the organization throughout the analytics initiatives and development process.
- Synthesize business needs and discern optimal data solutions to address those needs.
- Deliver data insights, articulate business value, and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders for informed decision-making.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline.
- Alternatively, hold an MBA from a reputable institution.
Preferred skills:
- Previous experience in distinguished analytics firms or teams within the BFSI, E-Commerce sectors, or dynamic start-ups with a focus on delivering analytical solutions to clients.
- Hands-on proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL, as well as familiarity with analytical tools like Alteryx, distributed file systems like Hadoop, visualization tools/programming including Qlik Sense, Tableau, and D3, and cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services.
- Capability to design and implement repeatable and scalable data solutions, encompassing extraction, mining, modeling, and visualization processes.
- Exposure to and expertise in designing and constructing machine learning algorithms.
- Knowledge of applied statistical methods, including regression, clustering, time series forecasting, customer segmentation, and driver and causality analysis.
- Proven experience in interacting with business partners, collecting requirements, defining business problem scopes, and effectively communicating insights.
