Key Responsibilities for SQL Developer:
- Develop, tune performance, optimize queries, and configure databases, utilizing SQL to efficiently retrieve and manipulate data.
- Design and implement database solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Create, maintain, and optimize Views/Tables, utilizing Join techniques, data types, and functions for effective management of complex data.
- Develop and manage technical documentation, including data models, procedures, and guidelines.
- Design, execute, and monitor data processes to ensure correctness and accuracy.
- Create models and tools for informing pricing decisions.
- Develop pricing strategies and revise them as necessary, monitoring pricing performance across regions and product lines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.
- Generate pricing analysis reports and present findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data-related needs and provide effective solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in database development.
Key Responsibilities for Power BI Developer:
- Gather comprehensive Power BI requirements from the Operations team.
- Prepare a detailed requirement summary and verify it with the Operations team.
- Maintain proactive communication with both the Operations team and the Power BI Manager.
- Adhere to coding standards and guidelines established by the team, ensuring proper documentation.
- Collaborate with the manager to plan the coding and UAT phases, and execute tasks accordingly.
- Proactively communicate with the manager in the event of any delays during the coding/UAT phase.
- Follow up with Operations teams to ensure UAT and OPS sign-off.
- Demonstrate flexibility by being prepared to work across offices within the city.
- Adjust working hours as required by the Operations team for effective requirements gathering.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Accumulate several years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role, encompassing pricing analysis and/or sales analytics.
- Possess a robust understanding of database administration, design, and normalization procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL Server (including SSIS), with experience in Oracle considered a plus.
- Exhibit the ability to develop and troubleshoot complex SQL scripts and stored procedures.
- Possess excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Display strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Primary Skill Set: Power BI, Automate, VBA, Macros, Access, Outlook.
Preferred skills:
- Possess familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Demonstrate knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Have experience in database administration tasks.
- Exhibit familiarity with version control systems.
- Consider certifications in database development or related fields as optional.
- Gain hands-on experience in statistical modeling and pricing techniques.
- Display a focused and data-driven personality.
