Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the continuous maintenance of client, property, and utility account information.
- Manually input utility data with a focus on ensuring high accuracy.
- Download utility data from vendor websites for processing.
- Load data from various sources into our system, managing data flow and resolving issues as needed.
- Utilize data processing tools and proprietary systems to validate data accuracy.
- Monitor and update utility consumption models critical to forecast and budget activities.
- Review and investigate year-over-year variances and anomalous energy data.
- Validate and maintain utility rates while identifying and flagging billing errors.
- Provide prompt cross-team support for client requests and energy data issues.
- Develop expertise in relevant products and functional areas.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
Preferred skills:
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience in a similar role is required. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are welcome, provided they have a strong numerical aptitude and a keen interest in data management.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
- Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibits excellent client service and relationship-building skills.
- Approaches challenges with a problem-solving and troubleshooting mentality.
- Shows a demonstrated commitment to teamwork.
- Essential to have a keen eye for detail, as a steep learning curve is anticipated.
- Experience with the MS Office suite, including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint. SQL experience is considered an asset.
