Key Responsibilities:
- Excel as a designer, demonstrating innovation, speed, creativity, effective communication, and the ability to contribute actively in meetings.
- Undertake a six-month User Experience Design Project.
- Employ insights, empathy-mapping, and user journey mapping techniques.
- Collaborate with user researchers, engineers, product managers, and visual designers to create optimal designs.
- Contribute positively to the creation of design assets through visual, verbal, and written means.
- Develop user journey maps and information architecture for applications.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in a Masters in Design program at a distinguished institute (IIT/NID).
- Proficiency in conceptual design, prototyping, tactical UI design, and familiarity with the software development process.
- Design portfolio showcasing user experience projects across areas like Desktop, Mobile, and Web Applications (Win, Android, MacOS, iOS).
- Experience in creating sketches, mind maps, and storyboards for brainstorming purposes.
- Demonstrated understanding of user issues, ability to find insights, and proficiency in detailed documentation.
- Utilization of metrics and user research data to influence design direction.
- Ability to consider and apply business objectives to design work.
- Proficient in at least one prototyping tool, such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficient with desktop and cloud documentation tools, including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and SharePoint.
Preferred skills:
- Proficient in sketching for quick UX prototypes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in prototyping tools, including HTML5, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Suite.
- Showcase skills in user experience animation.
- Possess experience in Heuristics Research.
- Experience conducting user research using industry-standard methods.
