Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Escalate issues as necessary.
• Learn about a specific area or product, relying on the team for domain knowledge.
• Contribute to the team’s learning and efficiency as experience is gained.
• Receive task estimates, usually from a supervisor or mentor, with some input. Tasks are limited in number and duration. Capture actual efforts in status reports.
• Have an understanding of requirements in the defined task area.
• Implement defined tasks and, with assistance, implement simple features or test cases.
• Write and run tests in specified product areas and document problems found.
• Execute prewritten tests, document encountered problems, and participate in the team responsible for system setup and maintenance.
• Provide initial analysis of problems in defined areas and assist in gathering information for problem debugging and resolution.
• Fix defects in defined areas of code, including simple problems with assistance. Create clear and accurate change/patch documentation and review test cases for clarity and accuracy.
• Handle contacts and user contact forms (UCFs) in defined product areas with assistance, expediting resolutions.
• Work effectively in virtual teams, receiving guidance from team members in any location.
• Participate in innovation activities as part of a team and contribute to the creation of knowledge documents.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is a requirement.

Preferred skills:

• While no prior experience is mandatory, internship or co-op experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in working within a global team, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across various functions, business units, and geographical regions.
• Effective communication of task-related information with clients.
• Strong team player, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good command of the English language.
