Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely delivery of work, meeting established deadlines and maintaining a high-quality standard.
- Provide exceptional customer service focused on exceeding customer expectations for accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
- Process customer instructions with precision, striving to meet the specified quality standards and targets.
- Proactively identify and propose process workflow enhancements.
- Identify and promptly escalate common errors and irregular transactions in line with established procedures.
- Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including those outlined in the Group Standards Manual, Functional Instruction Manuals, Desk Instruction Books, and Process Guides.
- Recognize and address operational risks associated with the role while performing duties.
- Uphold HSBC’s internal control standards and ensure the timely implementation of audit findings and resolutions to external regulator concerns.
- Continuously update knowledge of process-related procedures and ensure work aligns with these procedures and timeframes.
- Investigate and resolve issues and problems effectively or make appropriate referrals with recommendations.
- Respond promptly to urgent work requirements and demonstrate flexibility in work schedules.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
Preferred skills:
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Competent in using MS Office applications, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in utilizing vendor systems such as Refinitiv and Bloomberg data feeds.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
- Solid understanding of Derivatives, Fixed Income, Equities, and FX Rates.
- Willingness and flexibility to work varied hours, including night shifts and rotation shifts.
