Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Exhibit a solid comprehension of testing concepts and methodologies.
• Possess sound knowledge of the test execution process, defect life cycle, and test planning.
• Identify and categorize bugs based on their severity and priority.
• Proficiently report defects with excellent skills in defect documentation.
• Demonstrate experience in conducting functional, regression, re-testing, and sanity testing.
• Create a traceability matrix to establish a link between business requirements and test cases.
• Collaborate with teams to gain a deeper understanding of functional requirements, enabling the development of high-quality test cases.
• Formulate and execute test cases to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are comprehensively tested and met.
• Develop, modify, and enhance both manual test cases and test scripts, particularly those created in Selenium Web Driver.
• Perform test script execution on Firefox and Chrome web browsers.
• Possess substantial experience in automating web applications using Selenium Web Driver or any other automation testing tool in conjunction with the TestNG Framework.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in interpersonal interactions, decision-making, and problem-solving.

Eligibility Criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred skills: 

• Demonstrated experience in the role of a Quality Engineer or a similar position.
• Preferred background in testing within E-Commerce applications.
• Exceptional understanding of testing methodologies for Rest API, SOAP-Based Web Services, and Integration testing.
• Proficiency in testing concepts and methodologies.
• Comprehensive grasp of the test execution process, defect life cycle, and test planning.
• Competence in functional, regression, re-testing, and sanity testing.
• Proficient in test automation utilizing Selenium Webdriver with JAVA.
• Hands-on experience in creating, modifying, and improving both manual test cases and test scripts developed in Selenium Web Driver.
• Proficiency in automating Web Applications using Selenium Web Driver with the TestNG Framework.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellence in interpersonal interactions, decision-making, and problem-solving.
